Rodan + Fields does not test its formulas on animals. We use alternate in-lab test methods, voluntary paid participants and often, home office staff volunteers to verify the safety and efficacy of our formulations.

Shelf life varies based on the specific formulation and type of product. The FDA requires that Over-the-Counter (OTC) products have an expiration date on inner (primary) and outer (secondary) packaging. Cosmetic (non-OTC) products that do not list an expiration date have a shelf life that is substantiated based on FDA shelf life testing guidelines. Unless specified on the packaging, the shelf life of cosmetic products is a minimum of two years.

Most Rodan + Fields product containers are recyclable and all are manufactured and handled in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations, including the strict California Hazardous Waste Act.
